One product, two areas of expertise, national distribution
If you're a Costco member in Canada, you may have already spotted it in the refrigerated aisle: an orange box, the iconic Taj Mahal silhouette, the word KFI clearly visible. Inside, two 500-gram portions of ready-to-eat Butter Chicken, the result of a partnership we've been waiting to announce publicly for several months.

This product is the sum of two things we sincerely believe are complementary: KFI's signature sauce, already recognized by Canadians who love authentic Indian cuisine, and My Easy Dish's sous-vide cooking expertise, developed in our Saint-Eustache facility.
Here's how it works, and why it matters to you.
The KFI sauce: a jar classic becomes a complete meal
KFI doesn't need an introduction to Indian cuisine lovers in Canada. Their Butter Chicken sauce (rich, creamy, balanced) has long been a respected shortcut for home cooks who want a faithful result without spending three hours at the stove.
The challenge when you turn a star sauce into a complete meal is to lose nothing of it. A sauce treated too hot for too long loses its aromatic notes. An industrially cooked protein can turn rubbery, dry, or worse, lose any flavour of its own (reduced to a vehicle for the sauce).
We refused that compromise from the start.
Our contribution: precision sous-vide cooking
At MyED, sous-vide cooking isn't one technique among others. It's our signature method. We cook the meat in a sealed package.
1. Consistent tenderness. The chicken never exceeds the target temperature. It doesn't dry out, doesn't shrink, doesn't lose its juices.
2. Industrial-grade food safety. Pasteurized sous-vide meets Health Canada's strictest requirements. The product travels in the cold chain, keeps well, and arrives at your home exactly as it left the facility.
3. Absolute reproducibility. The 1,000th pouch has the same texture as the first. This is exactly what Costco buyers demand, and exactly what we deliver.
When you combine an already excellent sauce with a protein that has lost none of its texture, you get a ready-to-eat meal that doesn't look like a ready-to-eat meal.
How to use it at home
The KFI × MyED Butter Chicken is designed to reheat in about 8 minutes. In the microwave, on the stovetop, or even in a conventional oven if you want to gratin the top with a little Indian cheese (crumbled paneer, for example).
A few sides that work particularly well:
Steamed basmati rice: the classic, undefeated side.
Naan: warmed 30 seconds in the oven, perfect for sopping up the sauce.
Fresh cilantro: chopped just before serving for aromatic freshness.
Lime wedge: for those who like to cut through the richness.
Plain yogurt: on the side to soften the sauce if you're serving children sensitive to spice (the product is labelled Mild / Doux, but the option is still appreciated).
The 2 × 500 g family format generally serves four adults, or two adults and three children, with rice and bread.
Why Costco
Costco Canada said yes to this partnership because our two brands converge on what matters to them: a product that truly delivers what it promises, at a coherent member price. At $19.99 for 1 kg of already-cooked butter chicken, ready to serve a complete family dinner, the equation speaks for itself.
The product is now in national distribution, everywhere in the country, in Costco warehouses from Quebec to British Columbia.
What this partnership says about MyED
For our team, this launch represents more than a new listing. It concretely demonstrates what My Easy Dish brings to strong brands that want to cross the threshold of mass distribution without diluting their identity: precise manufacturing, guest-brand discipline, scaling capacity that never sacrifices consistency.
KFI trusted a Quebec manufacturer to carry its signature sauce to a national scale. Costco trusted that equation. We take that very seriously, and we can't wait for you to taste the result.
Enjoy.
